Volunteers from the Adopt-A-Spot program were hard at work weeding and mulching the pedestrian bridge and ramps this last weekend,  May 4 & 5. Lila and Shaquan recently joined the program and are part of the large group that signed up this spring to volunteer.

Second Annual Bird Walk

Thirteen  bird watcher enthusiasts participated in our second annual FIPP bird walk, Saturday May 8. We recorded 19 species and one of the highlights was watching an egret and a great blue heron fly up from the shoreline near us. Big thanks to Lisa Maloney

The Tree Restitution Advisory Committee awarded eight new trees to be planted in India Point Park. An additional five trees will also be planted as replacements for some that did not survive our previous planting project. The trees include: 2 Pin Oak, 3 American Holly,
