Charette for Fox Pt, College Hill, and Wayland Square. We need you and your friends to speak out about waterfront public space.
WHEN: Mon-Thurs, May 5-8, day & evening sessions. Most important is WED, May 7 session, 6-8pm, on I-195 Relocation & the Waterfront
WHERE: Daytime meetings (9-11am; 11:30-1:30, 2-4pm), Unitarian Church, 1 Benevolent St; Evening meetings (6-8pm), Lincoln School Dining Room, 301 Butler (corner of E. Orchard Ave)
WHY: 1) Making the Shooters site a public Gateway to the Bay must be a high priority to succeed;
2) Continuing broad public support is essential. We need more to achieve a public destination at the Head of the
Bay; 3) Support amending the Comprehensive Plan & zoning ordinance to favor public space.
WHO: Open to all interested citizens, including non-residents of Fox Pt, College Hill, & Wayland Sq. Pick & choose the sessions you want to attend.
WHAT: Attached full SCHEDULE highlights sessions of special interest to FIPP:
WED, 6-8pm: I-195 Relocation & the Waterfront (Lincoln School)
TUES, 9-11am: Parks, Open Space & Recreation (Unitarian Church)

MON: 2-4pm: Mobility & Circulation (bike paths, etc); 6-8pm: Neighborhood Visioning
TUES: 2-4pm: Neighborhood Character & Land Use; 6-8pm: Elected officials on Visioning
WED: 2-4pm: Open Studio (to review sessions & give feedback)
THURS: am & pm: Summing up
The results of Wednesday evening's session will provide input for the CITYWIDE WATERFRONT CHARETTE on JUNE 9-12, which we also need people to attend!
