Free admission to new festival offering regional seafood, art, entertainment & more

Grand Festivals has teamed up with local and regional sponsors and vendors to bring the first annual Rhode Island Seafood Festival to India Point Park in Providence, RI. A percentage of the proceeds will help the American Red Cross Hurricane Irene Relief and the Rhode Island Chapter of Surfrider Foundation whose mission is to protect oceans, waves, and beaches.
Fresh seafood will be served by local vendors including Matunuck Oyster Bar, The Narragansett Grill, Ocean State Fresh and Behan Family Farm. Other vendors showcased at the festival include The RI Lot, Owens Corning, Aquidneck Honey, Shelalara Vineyards, amongst many others. The American Red Cross will also be donating their EMT services.
Entertainment will be provided by local bands on the Pier Stage throughout the event. The line-up is as follows:

1:00PM: Dynamite Stack
2:00PM: Viking Jesus
3:00PM: The Johnsons
4:00PM: Mark Cutler
